Refund Policy

At Sprocket Technology, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital solutions, IT services, and technology products.
Because our work involves time, expertise, and custom development, this Refund Policy outlines when refunds are applicable, and when they are not.

By purchasing any of our services, you agree to this policy.


1. General Refund Terms

Due to the nature of our business (custom-made digital and technology services), most payments are non-refundable.

Refunds may only be issued in specific cases outlined below.


2. Non-Refundable Payments

The following payments cannot be refunded under any circumstances:

A. Project Deposits

  • All initial deposits (normally 30–50%) are non-refundable.
  • Deposits cover planning, research, onboarding, and preparation work already performed.

B. Completed Work

Once a service, milestone, or project has been delivered, no refund will be issued.

C. Digital Products

This includes:

  • Software
  • Website templates
  • Digital files
  • Licenses
  • E-books
  • Graphic materials
  • Online tools

Because digital items cannot be “returned,” all digital purchases are final.

D. Third-Party Fees

Payments made to third parties on your behalf cannot be refunded, including:

  • Domain names
  • Web hosting
  • Software subscriptions
  • API credits
  • Plugins & themes
  • Advertising spend

3. Partial Refund Eligibility

A partial refund may be granted ONLY under the following conditions:

A. Work Not Yet Started

If you paid in full but no work has started, you may receive up to 70% refund (minus administrative fees).

B. Work Started but Not Completed

If a project has started but is not yet completed:

  • Refunds will be calculated based on hours worked
  • Admin + resource costs will be deducted
  • A maximum of 30% may be refunded

This is rare and assessed case-by-case.


4. Situations Where Refunds ARE Granted

Refunds may be approved if:

A. We Cannot Complete the Project

If Sprocket Technology is unable to deliver the agreed service due to internal limitations, you will receive:

  • A refund for any undelivered portion
  • Or an offer to reschedule, upgrade, or substitute the service

B. Duplicate Payments

If you accidentally pay twice for the same service:

  • The duplicate payment will be refunded immediately

C. Unauthorized Transactions

If a transaction was made without your permission:

  • Once verified, a full refund will be issued

5. No Refunds for Client-Caused Issues

Refunds will NOT be issued if:

  • The client changes their mind
  • The client switches business direction
  • The client delays the project
  • The client fails to provide content or materials
  • The client does not like a design after approving earlier concepts
  • The client hires another agency mid-project
  • Third-party platforms fail (hosting, plugins, APIs, etc.)

We cannot be held responsible for losses caused by client-side decisions.


6. Quality Guarantee (Revisions Instead of Refunds)

Rather than refunds, Sprocket Technology provides:

  • Revision rounds
  • Feature adjustments
  • Bug fixes
  • Technical support
  • Troubleshooting assistance

We ensure your project meets industry standards and your business needs.


7. Service Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel a project:

Before Work Begins

  • Up to 70% refundable (deposit remains non-refundable)

After Work Begins

  • Refund amount depends on completed work
  • Typically 0–30% may be eligible

After Delivery

  • No refunds under any circumstances

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send a formal email to:

Include:

  • Full name
  • Email used for purchase
  • Transaction ID
  • Date of payment
  • Reason for refund request
  • Any supporting documents

Refund reviews take 3–10 business days.

If approved, the refund will be processed via:

  • Mobile money
  • Bank transfer
  • Debit/credit card
  • PayPal (if used)

Refund timelines may depend on your bank/payment provider.


9. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • All project work will be paused
  • Your account may be suspended
  • Legal action may be taken for fraudulent disputes

We encourage discussing any issue before escalating.


10. Changes to This Refund Policy

Sprocket Technology reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time.
Updates take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
